Flute Music-Day 25/30

Today has been a good day, a busy day…and I’m tired. But I’m committed to posting every day this month. So, I’ll share with you what I shared with our granddaughter. She plays flute in the school band. I’ve always loved flute music!

Of course, when considering good flute music, you MUST discuss Locomotive Breath by Jethro Tull. Ian Anderson is brilliant in this song. You have to wait a bit for the solo but it’s so worth the wait!

A lesser known piece is this one….good flute but much less intense.

Our granddaughter was not at all familiar with the music of Jethro Tull (making me feel ancient). But good music stands the test of time. And Tull is worth knowing at any age….

I hope you enjoy this musical interlude.

I’m glad you’re here💜

  1. To me… Flute music is so whimsical and lighthearted. I’ve always, always loved it. Very cool that you used to play it! But I’m not surprised… You are a multi faceted, multi talented gift to us all.💜
