This is the 4thu year of my blog and of my involvement in Nanopoblano. So it’s also the 4th year of me doing a Happy Birthday post for my husband, Don.

Today is his birthday, an opportunity to celebrate him!

Don is….

-A strong, quiet presence that anchors every gathering. He brings peace and calm wherever he goes.
-Loved immediately by every baby and every dog he has ever met….and that says a lot.
-Always the one who says yes when someone needs something, anything ALWAYS.
-Kind to a fault. I’ve seen him hurt by things others have done or said and he chooses to give Grace in almost every situation.
-A master of letting things go and choosing harmony over conflict.
-A visionary…he bases his decisions on the long game rather than on short sighted gratification.

He’s also quick witted and often says the funniest things with impeccable timing!

Don is and continues to be the very best person I know.

Neither of us had easy childhoods. And maybe that’s why we appreciate each other so much. I say this frequently….He’s the best part of my life and always has been.
