We’re halfway there-NaNoPoBlano Challenge Day 15/30

We’re halfway through the NaNoPoBlano monthlong blogging challenge coordinated by Ra Avis
https://rarasaur.com/about/

I had only been blogging for a week when it started. And I have to say that I’m so glad that I jumped in….even though I was terrified!

It’s said that, in order to develop a new habit, you need to do it daily for a month. That’s how long it takes to build new neuro pathways. I believe this to be accurate. And, given that I’m a master procrastinator, this commitment is exactly what I needed!

But here’s the thing….and there’s always a thing, this challenge has opened my brain in new and interesting ways. Just like painting classes taught me to appreciate light and shadow differently, NaNoPoBlano has taught me to observe life differently and to see it as an ongoing story… determining what observations might be worth digesting and retelling/sharing.

I’ve also connected with other bloggers and have been awed and inspired by their talent! If you’re wondering about writing and finding your voice, I encourage you to read this— https://rarasaur.com/2020/11/13/ama-writing/ Ra writes with grace and an open heart 💜

And honestly, blogging has started to feel like self care. It feels like exercise for my brain! I think I might be hooked!

At this halfway point, I’d like to share my gratitude for everyone involved in this journey…To Ra for making this happen, to the blogging team, to anyone taking the time to read…thank you for your presence!

I’m glad you’re here ❤️
