Love the photographs, esp. the daisy bushes…and the black squirrel. So pretty! Thank you! Love to see the deer and waterfowl. My husband, on the way back home from volunteer work, saw many pairs of geese in the ditch at the side of the road, walking with their little ones, newly hatched. A delight to the heart!

I had meant to mention that I was happy to see the photo of the Painted Lady. That is my favorite butterfly. Love it when they descend upon us.

So happy to know that you enjoyed the pictures! Love the story about the geese! Years ago (like 20+) my husband actually rescued about six or eight baby ducks that had fallen in the sewer in front of our house as the mom was walking them to the river. Mom waited patiently for each baby as the firemen lowered him by the ankles and he grabbed them one by one. Once all were accounted for, they continued to the river. Later that day, when we were sitting on our porch, she marched them all in our yard. When they got in front of Don, she stopped. They all dropped, put their heads down in unison and stayed that way for almost a minute and then marched on. She was thanking him. It was breathtaking! Animals are so much more than we realize! And yes, so good for the heart. Wishing you a wonderful week 💜
