Springtime, renewal
That’s where you’ll find me.
Where trees are awake and showing off their new lion’s manes and flowers are swaying calling for more
I want to sit there, learning their language of light and breeze and scent
I want to hear their stories and feel their laughter
The culture of nature, the manners of pollinators, the rules of interdependence
I want to be a good guest and learn their etiquette so they will invite me back again and again
They know what I don’t
So I’ll dream myself there and second sleep with them hoping osmosis will help me
Can I sleep long enough to become fluent photosynthesis?
The fairies did it
Maybe they’ll tutor me in green math
I’m glad you’re here💜

This was lovely! I too dream of spring in autumn, haha. This really was beautiful though. My favourite part: ‘Can I sleep long enough to become fluent photosynthesis?’ ❤
