Elizabeth Gilbert posted this on her Facebook page some time ago. She said that she saw it on a friend’s wall and she believes that it is a Druid friendship greeting. In case the above is difficult to read, here’s what it says:

I honor you are gods.

I drink at your well

I bring an undefended heart to our meeting place

I have no cherished outcomes

I will not negotiate by withholding

I am not subject to disappointment

I have loved this since the moment that I saw it. It is a simple yet powerful commitment to friendship and honor. How beautiful!
