“The very least you can do in your life is figure out what you hope for. And the most you can do is live inside that hope. Not admire it from a distance but live right in it, under its roof.” – Barbara Kingsolver

Today, I’m thinking about hope. It’s been a challenging time for everyone. I don’t, for a moment, believe that anyone has had an easy year. Our issues vary greatly, but the struggle to keep our heads up and our hopes alive are similar.

As weary as you may be, I encourage you to remind yourself of your hopes and dreams. It’s so easy to get lost in the minutiae. Life’s treadmill keeps moving and we keep running….trying to catch up. We tend to everything but our Spirits.

I believe that, in order to thrive rather than to just survive, we have to tend to our Spirits. And our Spirits need hope! We need to hope for better for ourselves, for our loved ones, for our communities, for the planet!

There’s an old saying…”Energy follows intention!” When we intend or hope or believe in the possibility of a better….anything, then our choices and actions reflect that and life’s synchronicities line up to match our intentions. So….for anything and everything to improve, we have to believe that it can, that it’s possible! We have to have hope!

I need for things to get better. I’m still so concerned about the impending horse round ups out west! (See last Wednesday’s post for more information. Please consider calling or emailing to stand against the round up.) But I feel like I owe it to the organizers and to the horses to remain hopeful.

I have to believe in our better Angels. I have to believe more people will speak up and speak out. Hope will enable me to stay active. Without hope…. I’d give up. And giving up solves nothing!

I have to keep hope alive. And I encourage you to keep hope alive too.

I’m glad you’re here 💜
