“To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never to forget.” -Arundhati Roy
I meet regularly with 3 other women. Our intention is to create magic. With so much doom and gloom in the world, this seems vitally important.
There is an old expression:
ENERGY FOLLOWS INTENTION
We spend some time in quiet meditation, supporting each others intentions for health and abundance and love and family and safe travels and miracles… Always miracles!
And, I would submit that, whether we realize it or not, we all know this statement about energy to be true. We have seen people who seem to always live in drama and chaos. It seems apparent that drama and chaos is pretty much what they expect….and they receive it. Likewise, we’ve all known those happy, shiny people who seem to lead charmed lives. They seem to have an innate belief that everything always works out for them… And it does.
ENERGY FOLLOWS INVENTION.
It seems pretty important to have very clear intentions these days… And that’s what we do.
We also try and think about global intentions. We envision peace and prosperity on global levels. Peace is an intention that everyone benefits from.
Today, we spent some time envisioning worldwide peace. This led me to think about peace on every level. Why aren’t we thinking about peace more? Why aren’t we teaching our children how to choose peace?
Author Sondra Ray talks about always reaching for, and choosing the highest spiritual thought. We could be doing this every day in every interaction and in every conversation. Instead of simply reacting, we could be choosing. We could be choosing peace 100 times per day. Think about that!
My friend reminded me that we can also be looking for magic and miracles throughout the day. If we’re really paying attention, there are hundreds of moments of magic and miracles that happen all around us… we’re just not seeing them.
And here’s the best part… When we expect to see miracles, we pave the way for more miracles to happen. When we expect miracles instead of chaos… The universe lines up to support our expectations. Because…
ENERGY FOLLOWS INTENTIONS.
When we recognize, acknowledge and feel gratitude for all of these little miracles, we invite even more miracles in. So try to notice and feel genuine gratitude, and even thank the universe when you have an easy commute to work because traffic was lighter than normal, or when some kind driver slows down to let you on the freeway, or when you have an exceptional server in a restaurant… All of these tiny little things are many bits of magic and miracles. They’re given to us… And if we see them and feel grateful for them … We invite more of that in our lives.
And don’t we all want and need more magic and more miracles?
I know I do!
I’m feeling newly inspired to pay more attention and to really watch for little bits of magic throughout my day. I’m hoping that I can inspire you to look for magic also… We have so much to gain, and absolutely nothing to lose!
Feel free to stop back here and drop your stories about magic and miracles in the comment section… Let’s support each other in creating miracles.
Wishing you tomorrows filled with everything that you need and at least a few things that you want!
I’m glad you’re here.💜
