Covid Found Us!

I had started the month of April fully intending to try and join the Poem a Day for 30 Days Challenge. I made it one week and then caught a pretty nasty cold that lasted 2 weeks.

I was just starting to feel like I was on the other side of it when my husband started feeling sick. That was Monday. On Wednesday, we both tested positive for Covid. (We were both negative 10 days before when I first got sick.)

We’re 3 days into this and it’s a beast! Because of my neuromuscular issues, heat is NOT my friend. Heat makes me too weak to function. And Covid…for me…means fever. -Not so much for my husband, thankfully.

We’re both miserable.

So I haven’t dropped out of the challenge for no reason. I’m trying to heal alongside my husband….who has to help me even though he’s sick too. Maybe next April will be better and I’ll be able to finish the challenge.

We’re grateful for any thoughts/prayers/good vibes you might feel like sending.

And please take good care of yourself. We’re proof that Covid isn’t gone.

I’m glad you’re here💜
