Today… We did a lot! We hoped… And that is big, big work!

Hope is not a standalone emotion. Hope is a mixture of so many things. It is faith. It is belief. It is wonder and magic and it makes living possible!

We hope, so we voted today. We know it’s not a perfect system. But because we hope for better… We voted.

We hope, so we mailed a birthday card to a beautiful child . We don’t get to see her as often as we would like. There are many children in our lives that we would love to see more. Physical limitations and distance make it more complicated than we would like. But because we love them and because we want them to know that we love them … We sent a birthday card to a beautiful child.

We hope, so we bought a lottery ticket. We want to believe in magic. We want to invite magic into our lives. So we play with the idea of millions and millions of dollars. We fantasize about giving money away and about buying homes for people in need. We want more magic in our lives… We bought a lottery ticket.

We hope, so we focus on the positive. We do our best to appreciate the beauty in each day. We appreciate the right to vote. We bless the birthday of each child. We thrill at the thought of magic and abundance and the fun of generosity!

We hope. We have faith. We welcome magic… And all of that makes each day even more of a gift!
